Who Can Be Our Member

The membership profile of VISION 2020- INDIA is all inclusive to represent all concerned stakeholders working in eye health or allied area. Our members are NGO eye hospitals, Centres of Excellence in eye care, Societies catering to specialised eye problems, nodal bodies representing ophthalmologists and optometrists, the corporate sector and INGOs. We also welcome organisations working in allied fields to strengthen the forum. If you belong to any of the above categories, you can apply to be a member.

Membership Categories

We offer three types of membership categories for organisations & eye care Industry:

Institutional Member

Associate Member

  • Category 1 (Hospitals)
    Institutions/hospitals from the ‘Not-for-Profit’ eye care sector registered under appropriate statutory provisions. Suitable for standalone hospital/institutions/ organisations.
  • Category 2 (Government Medical Institutions)
    Government Medical Institutions including RIOs & AIIMS offering Ophthalmology courses.
  • Category 3 (Autonomous-Private Medical Institutions)
    Who is eligible? Autonomous, Private Medical Colleges (Ophthalmology Department) and State Ophthalmological Societies.

Process for Membership

Membership application (please request for the application) to be duly filled in and submitted along with relevant documents to VISION 2020: The Right to Sight-INDIA Office.

The Executive committee reviews and approves the membership and further be ratified by the general body in its annual general body meeting.

On approval, the membership is confirmed, if otherwise, the amount paid will be refunded.
