Dr. Rajesh Saini
Dr. Rajesh Saini is the President of VISION 2020 INDIA and also represents the East zone on the Board. Dr. Rajesh Saini represents Siliguri Greater Lions Eye Hospital (SGLEH) and is Chief Executive Officer at SGLEH, Siliguri. He moved to the field of eye care management & administration after completing M. Phil in Hospital & Health Systems Management from Bits-Pilani. He also specialized in Quality Health Care Management from AHA –Noida & Managing Human Resources for Health in India from PHFI. Dr Saini is Life Member of Academy of Hospital Administration, Member of Asian & International Society of Quality in Health care (ISQua). He is being awarded with WHO-ISQUA Fellowship Scholarship in 2018. He is also an alumnus of IIM-B for Organizational Excellence through Leadership. Dr Rajesh Saini represented as National Coordinator on the VISION 2020 INDIA board 2020-2023 & East Zone representative from 2017-2020. Dr Saini has more than 14 years working experience in eye care hospital management.

Vice President : Operation Eyesight Universal

Mr Yashwant Sinha
Mr. Yashwant Sinha is the Vice-President of VISION 2020 INDIA and represents Operation Eyesight Universal on the Board. Mr Yashwant Sinha is the Director - International Programmes at Operation Eyesight and is a development professional, Based out of Hyderabad, India, Yashwant holds a post-graduate degree in rural development planning and management and has 21 years of rich and progressive experience in the development sector. He began his career working with grassroots NGOs, first supporting people affected by the Gujrat earthquake in 2001 and later promoting economic wellbeing for people experiencing poverty in Rajasthan. While working in Rajasthan, he joined the corporate social responsibility (CSR) team of Cairn India Limited, a multinational oil and gas exploration company. As leader, he was responsible for partnership development, team development, program planning and community engagement. Before joining Operation Eyesight in 2016, he was consulting for the Government of Rajasthan and Essar Foundation. Yashwant supports his International Programmes Team members with his strong strategic programming skills and innovative thinking. He also works collaboratively with our teams in Africa, adapting and scaling up Operation Eyesight’s flagship model of Hospital-Based Community Eye Health across our countries of intervention.

Secretary : Dr. Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi

Prof. Praveen Vashist
Prof. Praveen Vashist is the Secretary on the Board of VISION 2020 INDIA and represents Dr. Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. Dr Praveen is the Head of Community Ophthalmology at Dr RP Centre. He is a Public health expert and post-graduate in Community Medicine from LHMC, New Delhi and has completed his master’s degree in Community Eye Health from London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), London. He has been instrumental in developing community outreach programs along with strengthening epidemiological research & training in the field of community eye care. He has contributed immensely towards development of health policies as key resource person for technical support for National Programme for Control of Blindness in India. As a principal investigator, he has led all major surveys over the last decade under NPCB&VI which includes the National Blindness and Visual impairment Surveys, National Diabetic Retinopathy Surveys, National Trachoma Prevalence and Rapid Assessment Surveys, National Human Resource and Infrastructure survey and development of India Vision Atlas.  He serves as an international expert to the WHO SAERO and WHO Geneva and coordinating WHO Collaborative centre activities at Dr. RP Centre. He was member in several committees and received several awards.

Treasurer : Seva Foundation

Mr. Kuldeep Singh
Mr. Kuldeep Singh is the Treasurer of VISION 2020 India and represents Seva Foundation on the Board. Mr. Singh is the Regional Director- India and Bangladesh with Seva Foundation. He brings 15 years of experience to the Vision 2020 India board spanning with NITI Aayog, Government of India, Tata Trusts, CRISIL Advisory Ltd., and World Peace Initiative, Thailand. Mr. Singh has provided transformational leadership to multi-country initiatives, leading teams based in Asia, Europe, and America, and led the design of a multi-million-dollar National program at the Ministry of Rural Development. He is a management graduate from the University of Lucknow with advanced studies in sustainable development from EPFL Switzerland. Mr. Singh is the founding Vice-President of Sweden Alumni Network India- Delhi/NCR, a Swedish Institute's YCF fellow, and an Acumen Fellow.
Phanindra B Nukella

CEO : VISION 2020: The Right to Sight - INDIA

Mr Phanindra Babu Nukella, CEO, VISION 2020: The Right to Sight - INDIA has a total of 22 years of experience at progressive capacities in not-for-profit health sector – both technical and non-technical. Mr Nukella leads the mission of the Organization, has strong competencies in providing leadership to large scale health programmes, leading the advocacy efforts with the government, and managing the partnerships with diverse forms of civil society viz. NGOs, FBOs, CBOs, private sector and the government. The program he worked and managed contributed to creating community level impact. Special expertise includes large size team management, policy engagement, organizational systems efficiency, strategic information & evaluation and coordination with international Donor organizations. Have good technical expertise in HIV/AIDS, Maternal and Child Health, and eye care programmes. He did Ph.D. in Population Sciences from a university recognized by WHO.
